I picked up a crayon one day when I was in diapers… and didn’t stop drawing for years. Art consumed my teenage years and for a while I wanted to be a comic book artist more than I wanted to be an author. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the sort of natural talent that would require. But to this day, art is something I love to the bottom of my soul. Needless to say, I’m utterly ecstatic that my youngest minion picked up that crayon and blows me out of the water every day with her talent. She’s even been nominated for the Gifted and Talented Program on the Artistic Side and I’m insanely proud of her.
So, now you know why Ginny’s passion for drawing comes from the heart. Some of my favorite artists are Luis Royo, Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell, Kerem Beyit and the artists behind Elf Quest and X-Men. On this page, you’ll find some of the art that inspired the pieces that Ginny “draws” in Sweet Agony (and later in Sweet Recovery). I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! 🙂
*I do not own the rights to any of these pieces and will list the artist’s name if I was able to find it!*
